At the Wesley Food Pantry we strive to connect our clients to community resources that will help empower their lives and get them on the path to self-sufficiency. Here is a list of Champaign County community resources that provide a variety of services to those in need. 

• 2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember, non-emergency telephone number that connects people with the help they need.
• Eastern Illinois Foodbank lists several other pantries in Champaign County if the location and hours of the Wesley Food Pantry are not convenient for you.
• Champaign County Regional Planning Commission provides a variety community services such as Tenant-Based Rental Assistance, Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program and Senior Services.
• Illinois Supplemental Nutrition Assistance program (SNAP): Submit your application online for additional food for your family. Benefits are provided on the Link Card, an electronic card that can be used at most grocery stores.
• Illinois Department of Health and Family Services (HFS) Medical Programs: HFS Medical Programs that pay for a wide range of health services. Click here to apply.
• Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps eligible households pay winter gas or electric bills. Documents must be made available during the appointment.
• Parkland College Adult Education offers free services and instruction to adults who need to improve their basic literacy skills, do not have their high school diploma or do not speak English as their first language.
